Privacy Notice

Fund or Fry is a public community for posting ideas, sharing feedback and voting. This notice describes how information is used when you use the site.

Account information and Google sign-in

Google handles sign-in. Supabase processes the account information returned by Google, including your email address and basic profile information, to create and authenticate your account. Your email is not displayed in the public community feed. We use this information to provide sign-in and community features, rather than to access your Gmail, Drive or other Google content.

Public community content

Your public handle, published ideas and comments are visible to visitors. Vote and reaction totals are public. Do not post confidential ideas, contact details or other information you do not want others to see. Public content can be copied or shared by other people.

Reports and moderation

Reports are available to the site owner and moderators for reviewing abuse and enforcing community rules. Reports are not shown in the public feed.

Browser storage

The site uses browser storage for your sign-in session and unpublished idea and comment drafts. Drafts stay in that browser until you publish or clear them. You can remove locally stored information through your browser settings; doing so may sign you out and remove drafts.

Service providers

We use Google for sign-in, Supabase for authentication and database storage, and Vercel for hosting. These providers process information needed to deliver their services, which can include technical request and security logs.

Retention and deletion

Account and community records are stored to operate the service. You can delete your own ideas and comments using the site's controls. Removing content from the site cannot remove copies that other people have already made. You can revoke the site's Google access in your Google Account settings; revoking access does not itself delete records stored by Fund or Fry.

For privacy questions or account deletion requests, contact the operator using the user support email displayed on the Google sign-in consent screen. For concerns about a specific post or comment, use its Report button.

We may update this notice as the service changes. The date above shows the latest update.
